Decatur is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Decatur follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. Calling from out of state with only an idea of what I was looking for, the lady on the phone was AMAZING. She didn't rush me, she didn't act as if I should know what I'm trying to send. Very simple and very informative answers. The flowers arrived to their destination and were better than expected!!! Awesome customer service and complete respect over the phone. Amazing product!! Definitely recommend!!! 10 stars!!!

I called Svedsen hoping to brighten my 92-year-old aunt’s hospital room, and from the moment Pam answered the phone, I felt genuine kindness. I mentioned that my aunt’s favorite color was peach. Even though they didn’t have true peach blooms that day, Pam thoughtfully chose flowers in soft, warm shades that came beautifully close—gentle tones that felt like comfort. There was no upselling, no pressure—only sincerity. Pam even reminded me that hospital rooms are small and that something simple and sweet would be just right. The price was far lower than I expected, and the bouquet arrived in less than four hours. When my aunt received the arrangement, it looked like a small piece of sunshine placed gently by her bedside. Thank you, Svedsen, for your compassion, your artistry, and your heart. You turned a simple request into something truly meaningful. I recommend you wholeheartedly.

We ordered homecoming flowers from Svendsen Florist in October 2025. Friendly staff, fresh flowers, nicely-designed pink carnation corsage & boutonniere with option of magnet or pin clasp. (We recommend the magnet.) Arrangements were wrapped, boxed, & ready on time at the quoted price. Very reasonably priced. Boutonniere was less than $11.

I called them the afternoon before a funeral asking if they could deliver the next morning, because two other places had canceled my order with no explanation. They were extremely nice and when I showed up what was there for him was amazing and I couldn't be more pleased with their service. Would definitely recommend.
